Protection and Safety First

We know that careless application of chemicals, sealants and stains will kill grass and plants. So before we begin, we "tarp up" all plants and shrubbery around the deck area. We remove toys and furniture to protect them. We inspect areas of your deck adjacent to the siding of your home that could be vulnerable to damage from high pressure.

Measured Pressure

Commercial pressure washing equipment provides a choice of nozzles, some designed specifically for cleaning decks. The smallest opening will deliver the most power. We test nozzles first, starting with less pressure, only adding more if needed to clean your deck effectively. Too much pressure can cause damage to the wood.

Application of "Deck Brightener"

Before we power wash your deck with water, we apply a professional "deck brightener" biodegradable product to all wood surfaces of your deck. It penetrates to help brighten the wood and bring out the warm, wood grain and color. Then we go back to water and power rinse your deck to complete the cleaning process.

Elite generally allows 3 to 5 days before returning to seal or stain your deck subject to no rain or wind and temperatures must be above 50 degrees.
